Pensando al nostro tema ho visualizzato subito qualcosa che avesse a che fare più con la moda che non con i drinks, aperitivi e quant'altro. Ho tirato immediatamente fuori il set di Tim Holtz Runway e ho scelto la mia protagonista! vestito corto ma scintillante, giusto per l'occasione! Quindi ho deciso di realizzare una card invito.
Sono un pochino in fissa con gli alcohol inks di qualsiasi tipo, così ho voluto provare gli Alcohol inks pearls sul nuovo cartoncino Ranger Matte Black. Posso dire... una favola!
Thinking about our theme I immediately visualized something that had more to do with fashion than with drinks. I immediately pulled out Tim Holtz Runway set and chose my star! short but so sparkling dress, perfect for the occasion! So I decided to make an invitation card.
I'm a little bit obsessed with alcohol inks of any kind, so I wanted to try new Alcohol inks pearls on the new Ranger Matte Black card. I can say ... fabulous!!
Io amo molto questi inchiostri ma non sono proprio bravissima nel loro usao, ho milioni di cose da imparare ma la voglia di provarli e vedere cosa ne usciva ha prevalso sul fatto che prima di lavorarci dovrei studiare ancora tanto! E' vero che anche l'esperienza e provare ad utilizzarli conta moltissimo per cui... via sono partita! Per cominciare ho gettato letteralmente alcune gocce di Mixative Snow capsul cartoncino e fatto asciugare mentre lo muovevo, in modo che le gocce sii espandessero a loro piacimento. A questo punto ho fatto la stessa cosa con gli Alchol inks pearl e con qualche piccolissima goccia di Jacquard Pinata Color Rich Gold. Finito il background!
I really love these inks but I'm not really very good at their use, I have millions of things to learn but the desire to try them and see what came out of it prevailed over the fact that before working on it I should still study so much! It is true that even the experience and trying to use them counts a lot so ... I started! To begin with, I literally threw a few drops of Mixative Snow cap onto the card and let it dry while I was moving it, so that the drops were expanding at will. At this point, I did the same thing with the Alchol inks pearl and with some tiny drops of Jacquard Pinata Color Rich Gold. The background is made!
Per la splendida ragazza ho stampato su Heavystock con il mini archival Black soot, ritagliato ( non è stato facilissimo!) e poi con i Glitter Nuovo Golden years ho realizzato l'abito! Tanta pazienza e Glossy e il gioco è fatto!
I printed the beautiful girl on Heavystock with the mini archival Black soot, cut out (it wasn't easy!) then with Glitter Nuvo Golden Years I made the dress! A lot of patience and Glossy and you're done!
Con la fustella Atomic Elements di Tim Holtz sizzix ho tagliatosu cartoncino nero e oro gli abbellimenti che mi piacciono tantissimo con il loro aspetto retro!
With Tim Holtz Sizzix Atomic Elements I cut the embellishments that I like very much with their retro-look on black and gold cardstock!
A questo punto entra in gioco quella che in Italia si chiama l'arte di arrangiarsi! Siccome possiedo solo la versione grande di Blueprint Cocktail ma ovviamente non funzionava perchè è grande quanto la ragazza.... ho tirato fuori dai miei cassetti .... shrink plastic! Era davvero tanto tempo che non lo usavo, in questo caso è perfetto, il bicchiere da cocktail sembra davvero vetro e la dimensione è diventata quella giusta!
At this point I had to look for a creative solution to my problem! Since I only own the big version of Blueprint Cocktail but obviously it didn't work because it's as big as the girl .... I pulled out of my drawers .... a sheet of shrink plastic! It was really a long time since I used it, in this case it's perfect, the cocktail glass really looks like glass and the size has become the right one!
