A VINTAGE JOURNEY TAG FRIDAY MAY

Ciao a tutti!

Hello everyone! Tag Friday on aVintage Journey Challenge Blog like every month with five Fridays! We have a series of inspirations that you can find on our Blog! I recommend you go to peek because they are really beautiful!

My tag could only be inspired by the new Distress color, Speckled Egg! I have used it in almost all its different versions and I confess that it is true love! It is the color that I had in my head for a long time and that I say with sincerity I was missing! It suddenly materialized and I think I will make immoderate use of it in future projects!
Today's tag is a throwback, I used a decidedly "old" die with new materials together with decidedly more recent stamps and stencils. Paper Dolls are ageless, practically perfect in every way as Mary Poppins would say!

Below is the tutorial that I think is quite clear, I specify that the photo of the Distress Translucent Grit Paste that I used on the inkpot together with the Glaze powders is missing. Once the paste was dry I warmed the powders and added a little shine with Alcohol Ink Alloy

Vi aspetto su A Vintage Journey Challenge Blog!

I hope you enjoyed this return to the past mixed with the present!
I wait for you on A Vintage Journey Challenge Blog! Thanks for stopping by, see you here soon!

Utterly scrumptious tag, Barbara... I completely agree with you about Speckled Egg, and I'm very jealous that you already have yours - I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. I hope it comes soon!!

What fabulous rusty grungy textures and the soft grey/blue/green of the Speckled Egg makes a wonderful contrast. I love the crackled alphabet at the top and beautiful ribbons. A perfect Tag Friday tag.

Beautiful as always Barbara and I adore how you have used the Speckled Egg, what a wonderful colour and I agree that it is one that was definitely missing from the blue shades in the Distress line. Love how you have combined the old and the new on this tag and your wee Paper Doll looks very dapper leaning against the ink well and quill! Fabulous textures as always, thanks so much for sharing it, Deb xo
