ART JOURNAL WITH AALL & CREATE!

Ciao a tutti!

Hello everyone! I am so  happy to  show you in this midweek post my second project as Gust Designer for AAll & Create!

For this second project I chose the journal of Eileen Hull, an extremely versatile die! I started with the idea of creating something very spontaneous and very colorful, I tried to clear my mind and use only my hands and my heart.
Inevitably ... the wave of color has arrived! I took the Zig Kuretake watercolors out of my drawers,  I often forget to have them! I'm not good at all with this type of coloring, but I like them so much and so I used them in a disordered way ....! They are absolutely perfect for their brilliance, liveliness and transparencies!
I started by choosing the set of stamps and stencils AAll & Create to use (the list of materials as always at the end of the post!) And as a second step I cut two Ranger Watercolor cards to the same extent as the journal covers.
On two corners (both in the front and in the back) I used the Texture paste with the stencil # 17 on the white background. Once dry I have begun to paint my rainbow with watercolors.
At this point I used the stamps with the brushes of set # 26 along with the black embossing powder. In the background, to give movement, I used the set # 47 and Archival ink Shadow grey and Jet black.

Circles cut  with a  Pete Hughes die  and a touch with of stencil AAll & Create # 16  to complete the outside covers!

Negative version for the inside of my journal! Black as a base and splashes of color,  stamps and stencils used with white ink!

I love this book and bought the die cut based on your beautiful work. I noticed the die cut does not have a spine like the one in your photos. Can you tell me how you created the spine on your book. It is beautiful.
Thanks,
Melani
