SIMON MONDAY CHALLENGE: WE CAN SEE CLEARLY!

Ciao a tutti e buon Lunedì dell'Angelo! Siamo qui con la nostra sfida settimanale su Simon Says Monday Challenge Blog :WE CAN SEE CLEARLY, in pratica fatevi ispirare dalle trasparenze, ci sono tante cose che potete usare, Vellum , acetato, Fragments,  aspettiamo di vedere le vostre creazioni!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
This week we are challenging you to
WE CAN SEE CLEARLY
Use acetate, vellum,  or anything you can think of that is a little transparent or you can use your imagination and think of a different meaning!

When I read the theme of this challenge, immediately I  thought to try for the first time my new ICE RESIN! Now that I tried it I fell in love!  My creative world is made of paper and colors and that's why I decided to use Ice Resin creating a composition that should seem just emerged from the ocean ! I cut my frame with new  Tim Holtz Sizzix MOSAIC Bigz Die  and I tried to give to my project a worn look, using some Distress paints  and the new Distress Crayons to highlight the corners.  A touch of Crackle Paint ROCK CANDY and Ice Resin  to make it seem suspended the little treasures found in the sea!

I began to cutting two twin  pieces of  thick cardboard ,  at least 2mm in thickness so I  created the appropriate space to be filled with Ice Resin. I liked the idea that the small  small objects used, remain  suspended!
Here for you a short  tutorial

In these three series of pictures, there  are all the steps and all the products that I used to prepare the frame. I'm in love with this die! I find it so beautiful, versatile, you can use it in thousands of projects! I choose the colors linked to the sea, I thought at that wood that remains in the water or that is near the sea and is worn by salt. I started with a first layer of brown, in two shades, then I used  the blues and greens.

The last three steps:  cover everything with the new Medium Vintage Collage, to hihlight all the borders with Distress Crayons and give a  touch of  Distress Crackle paint clear  rock candy  on the corners.

Experiment with Ice Resin! Let's talk a moment of this product! I find it irresistible and  amazing! Maybe because I don't work in jewelry and therefore I'm totally inexperienced to the products and techniques. For this reason I wanted to try to use  Ice Resin in a different way. Obviously if you look with attention the close-ups below,   there are several errors ... but you know,  my favourite quote is " Embrace imperfection"! In the second photo you can  see  the "correction" of an error, or better  how  to make use of an error! When I laid the Ice Resin although I have tried to seal all spaces with a layer of  Glue  n Seal, a little bit of liquid has infiltrated, invading some  spaces! Under the word Ocean, he had created a little tsunami!! But....over  the word "Ocean"  and over  the fish I used Fragments to diversify my transparencies. For this reason I could  fix with Alcohol ink and make of my trouble a true wave of the ocean! Here in Italy we say .... make a virtue of necessity!
Last photo: Distress Crayons on the metal to fill the letters of the Word band!

In the close-ups you can see how  Ice Resin gives the effect of moving water and it isn't  simply a transparent and rigid  layer ! This is exactly the effect I wanted for my sea project!
I hope you liked it!
This week I apologize for my English! I wanted to tell many things and you know that translation is not my specialty! I'm sorry for my mistakes!

12 TAGS OF 2016: HAPPY EASTER VERSION!!!

Hello everyone, today I am here to wish everyone a Happy Easter!
Here is the Spring/Easter  version! This month the techniques are amazing and I have really enjoyed using them! HERE the original Tim's tag!

I used all the colors I love more, the shape of the egg and die with flowers below it seems to be a perfect combination! ! My hero is as always super colorful, today's undecided whether to be a rabbit or a bird Crazy! The  sentiment on the top of my tag  is adorable and really adaptable to him !!

BUONA PASQUA A TUTTI!
