Compendium of curiosities 3 Challenge #6 : ALTERED BURLAP PANEL!

Ciao a tutti!

Buone vacanze, a presto

I love this canvas. The little sailor looks so soft and all the sea items are soft colors. Then the peacock feathers background looks so good. A beautiful sea theme project, sings of summer. If I understand the translation correctly, you are going on vacation? Have a wonderful time!

That's simply magical, from the little boy on vellum, to the crackled seahorse, to the beautiful colours on the burlap, to the little gems caught in the fisherman's nets - amazing, amazing, amazing!

So clever! The image of the boy is almost ghostly and really makes me imagine times past for young sailors. A beautiful canvas. Jenny x

Barbara...thank you so much for your amazing comment you left on my blog. You always are so gracious with your thoughts. :) I've just returned from France and Germany so I've been out of the blog world for a couple of weeks. I'm just seeing your altered panel and it's beautiful! You always produce such lovely art. You've taken Tim's new nautical themed die cut and really rocked it on this piece. I love your little sailor boy in the background. Your crackled seashells and seahorse surrounding him look amazing. And the little glass pebbled spread out on top of the distressed gauze is the perfect embellishment for this piece. It's beautiful! <3 Candy
